Our Mission
The Montgomery Humane Society has been committed to its mission for over 100 years. The Montgomery Humane Society prevents cruelty to animals by operating an animal shelter for homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals; by operating an adoption center for healthy animals; by investigating cruelty and abuse cases; and by educating the public in animal owner responsibility. The Montgomery Humane Society is an open admission animal shelter that accepts all animals.
The Montgomery Humane Society was founded in 1920 and its mission has been providing shelter and care for animals ever since. It accepts all animals, regardless of their breed, age, or medical condition. The society also offers advice and guidance to pet owners in order to help them with the challenges and joys of animal ownership.
